Mobility is fundamental to our health. Most injuries are sustained when our body is put under force outside our comfortable range of motion, and for the average person this range of motion is decreasing every year.

All children have full range of motion…they can touch their toes, roll, fall and bounce back. However over time we repeatedly move in ways that don’t use our full range and our muscles tighten and restrict our ability to move freely.

Increasing our mobility means releasing that tightness from our muscles and allowing them to lengthen so that we can move freely again.

Astrid’s classes will help you release the years of tension allowing you to regain vitality and keeping you pain & injury free.

About Astrid

Astrid has been an athlete for over 40 years.

She has spent her life learning about the human body and mind. Nutrition, performance, methods & techniques for enhancing our health and wellbeing.

Among her certificates and endeavours are Shiatsu training, Reiki training, Yoga training, Cycling Instructor, Skiing Instructor, Windsurfing, Running, competitive Triathlons, Long distance cycling and Endurance events. 

Her self care and daily life have allowed her to sustain these activities into her 60’s. Through the years she has discovered what works by experimenting and allowing her routines to evolve as her life changes.

She invites her students to discover the freedom and joy in exploring who we are, remaining open for change and discovering what the next version of us is.

Astrid’s Mission

Astrid’s mission is to challenge the level of health we accept as “normal” for 40+ year old women and men.

We don’t age…..we give up. We accept a downward trajectory. 

But we don’t have to! What we have accepted as ageing is a reflection of our daily actions compounded over time which can create tightness, that will lead to pain & injuries or challenges in our health.

330 billion cells or about 1% of our body is replaced every day as part of our bodies natural process. Every 7 years all our cells are replaced. This means that each day we have a new opportunity for health because we are creating a new body each day.

By beginning with a foundation of breathing, rest, hydration and regaining our mobility we can shift our trajectory upward to one of wellness. 

Because there is nothing that is not correctable - Everything and ANYTHING is correctable.

No matter where you are it is not too late.
